Setting up your Capacity Settings

Capacity Settings need to be set up since this will determine the load capacity of the carriers connected in Carrier Marketplace. 

To set up Capacity Settings, follow these steps below: 

  1. Login to Locate2u using the account with Carrier Marketplace access in this link https://app.locate2u.com/
  1. After logging in, navigate to the Team > Settings and click on the Capacity Setting module. Please note that only a Team Owner and Team manager account can access this setting.

  1. In the Capacity Settings page, this will show the following columns: 
  • Type – The type of capacity
  • Unit – The measurement of the chosen capacity 
  • Symbol – This is the symbol that corresponds to the unit
    • Ex: Centimeters = cm
  • Default Stop/Shipment Load – Default value for the chosen capacity for a stop or shipment
  • Default Max Vehicle Capacity -Default value for the chosen capacity for a vehicle.

  1. Click on all the Capacity Setting and add a value in the Default Stop/Shipment Load as this will be used as well by other carriers. 

5. Click on the Save button to save the settings.
