Troubleshooting Guide for Battery GPS Unit

  1. 1. Review the installation guide: Make sure you followed the installation guide correctly to ensure that your GPS unit is properly installed.
  2. 2. Link your device to your Locate2u account: Verify that your GPS unit is properly linked to your Locate2u account by watching the video tutorial on how to do this.
  3. 3. Check to see if the devices is registered with Locate2u
  4. 4. Check for a SIM Card: Confirm that your GPS unit has a SIM card installed and ensure that it is activated properly.
  5. 5. Drive for initial connection: Allow your GPS unit to establish an initial connection with the network by driving your vehicle for at least 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Check for clear line of sight: The battery unit requires clear line of sight to the satellites in the sky. 
  7. 7. Check battery connections: Remove the batteries and reinstalled.
