Troubleshooting Guide for Hardwired GPS Unit
- 1. Review the installation guide: Make sure you followed the installation guide correctly to ensure that your GPS unit is properly installed.
- 2. Link your device to your Locate2u account: Verify that your GPS unit is properly linked to your Locate2u account by watching the video tutorial on how to do this.
- 3. Check to see if the devices is registered with Locate2u
- 4. Check for a SIM Card: Confirm that your GPS unit has a SIM card installed and ensure that it is activated properly.
- 5. Drive for initial connection: Allow your GPS unit to establish an initial connection with the network by driving your vehicle for at least 30 minutes.
- 6. Check power connections: Inspect the power connections for your GPS unit to ensure that they are securely attached to your vehicle’s power supply. Look for any signs of damage, wear, or loose connections and address them accordingly.
